blessed are the young, for they have the essential ingredient for the fruition of dreams: time.
the trick is figuring out how to manage that precious gift, how to prioritize and delegate it to most accurately reflect your desires. sometimes i really struggle with this- i feel like my time is going less towards the dreams of my heart and more towards the dreams of my mind, less towards the whims of my soul and more towards the logic of the world. but it’s all magic, it’s all progress, and i’ve still got lot’s more of that sparkly time object laying around…. right?
the whispers of disease threaten to wrest this joy from my grasp. when going to the doctor is frightening for more than financial reasons, when the symptoms are repetitively treated but the cause seems to linger, it’s so very difficult to feel anything but rushed. held captive half by malaise half of my days, the other half are spent frantically trying to accomplish all i can. the mania steals my sleep, driving me back to sickness.
solace is in meditation, energy shapes our physical being… but i find myself wondering if i have enough power to actually heal what might be wrong in my body.
