Jesus is the son of God. Jesus was here on Earth. God sent Jesus to Earth. God is in Heaven. He stays in Heaven. They’re two different beings.

I am so glad that she wrote a response to. Different forms of religion see God and Jesus as separate beings. That is why there is the belief in the Trinity: God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I think it’s rude and highly immature that people are bashing him. It was his thank you speech, and he wanted to thank God and Jesus separately. In fact many artists have thanked both God and Jesus Christ in their speeches. I neither like or dislike the biebs, but I am tired seeing this GIF appear on my dashboard making fun of him. Obviously these people are not educated on any level. Whether you are religious or not, leave him alone.

Thank you two so much for saying what I have been wanting to say every time people mock his intelligence. Religion is not in a box. Educate yourselves people.

Actually I think the point of religion is to put everything in a neat little box so people can pretend to understand it all.

And to clarify: implying that god/Jesus are two separate beings is a practice known as Arianism. Its considered a heresy by the Catholic Church, among many other christian denominations. Educate yourselves people.
